First Campaign Walkthrough

Last updated 2026-08-20

Worked example: new US character, Pennsylvania State Senate. Other countries use the same clicks with different office names.

If you have not created yet, stop and do Create a Character.

Setup (Day 1, before you spend)#

dashboard

Week 1: build, do not file yet#

Day 1 clicks (starting 25 actions):

  1. Confirm party on your profile.
  2. Campaign ×10 → PI about 10.
  3. Build Donor Network (spend the listed cost) → Donor 2.
  4. Run Advertisements once → Favorability ticks up a few points.
  5. Fundraise once.
  6. Bank leftover actions for tomorrow.

Days 2 to 7:

elections

Stop week 1 when: PI ~30, Favorability 60+, Donor 3, poll read.

Week 2: primary#

When the primary window opens:

  1. Elections → race → Declare.
  2. View Campaign. This is the spend screen.
campaign
  1. Campaign 2 to 4 actions/day (PI toward 40).
  2. Open nearby Democratic NPP profiles → request endorsements.
  3. Do not Attack fellow Democrats.
  4. Optional: one Full Demographic Poll if you have ₳75k and 6 actions.

Highest primary score in the party advances. Score is alignment + favorability + PI.

Week 3: general, opening#

You are the nominee. Turns until resolution are on the race page. Final 4 turns are heavy.

Daily:

If you are clearly ahead by mid-general, stop spraying money. Save for the last 4 turns.

Week 4: last 4 turns#

  1. Log in hourly if you can. Each turn snapshots your stats.
  2. Peak Favorability and PI going into those turns (ads + Campaign).
  3. Do not Withdraw.

Resolution: what the UI does#

The race page posts totals. Winner's profile shows the office. You gain the State Senate action and fund bonus and appear on the officials list. A new cycle of that office spawns at once.

Open the legislature (state or national, depending on office) to vote.

legislature

If you lost#

PI and Favorability stay. Donor Level stays. Money is probably gone; Fundraise rebuilds it. File the next primary in a couple of real weeks. You start ahead of week 1.
